Guided Summer Farm Tours

Saturday, June 3rd 10 a.m. - 1 p.m. (Family-Friendly Tour)

Saturday, July 29th 5 p.m. - 8 p.m. (All Ages Welcome)

Our guided walking farm tours are led by Jordan Green (co-owner of J&L Green Farm and founder of Farmbuilder). This is a very educational experience and we encourage kids and whole families to join us. You will actually get to see how we raise our animals (not just via social media & YouTube - even though that's great!), hear about the difference between sustainable farming versus conventional farming, and ask any questions you might have on all topics related to farming. Both tours include a picnic-style Smoked BBQ meal prepared by us following the tour. Please plan to bring chairs or picnic blankets for your family - there's plenty of open space to sit and enjoy!

Ages 10 & Under - $10.00

Babies/Toddlers (2 & Under) - Free

Family Friendly Tour: This tour in particular is geared towards young and school-age children who have lots of energy and questions. Curiosity is a good thing, and having fun is great, too!

The tours generally last 2-3 hours.

Join Jordan & Laura Green who built a farm from the ground up and would love to share their knowledge and experience for those who are just getting into homesteading or farming, or those who are looking to grow their farm larger. This time will be a full guided tour of our hog farrow to finish operation, sea countainer brooders (for chickens and turkeys), MRC (mobile-range coops) that we personally designed for moving chickens, our cow herd, placements of waterline, fencing, wooded lots that have been changed over to silvo pastures, and much more! All ages welcome - bring the whole family.

A bbq smoked lunch will be served with our forest raised pork, included with sides and drinks. Learn more and purchase tickets here.
